COVID-19 emergency response
2020CMAX Foundation with partners
During the COVID-19 pandemic, CMAX Foundation and Cmax System developed mobile unit concepts for hospitals under pressure: Cmax Med for triage and isolation, Cmax ZZZ for staff rest, and Cmax Lab for mobile testing.

Context
In the spring of 2020 hospitals faced a sudden need for beds, isolation space and testing capacity. Public health guidance pointed to free-standing structures and mobile testing units as ways to reduce exposure inside hospitals.
What the Foundation and partners did
CMAX Foundation promoted and helped develop three responses with Cmax System. Cmax Med, a foldable medical unit for triage and isolation. Cmax ZZZ, safe and isolated rest spaces for healthcare workers, designed with input from health professionals. Cmax Lab, mobile laboratory centers to be positioned where they could reduce the concentration of affected people.

A record, not a headline
This action is kept as institutional history. The COVID-19 response shaped the Cmax Med unit that the Foundation proposes today for hospitals under pressure.
The number of units deployed, the hospitals served and the partners in each location were not documented on the previous website. They are being confirmed and will be added to this record only when they can be backed with documents.
